Toxteth Portal
A very grungy shot of a laser art installation Portal situated in an old underground reservoir. It was a pretty nice use of the dark space and of the lasers, which were animated and twisted around each other.
This shot is super grungy mostly because I didn’t have a tripod, so I was trying to balance my camera against surfaces to eliminate what shake I could to get some form of exposure. But the lasers themselves were at time high to discern, particularly after you first entered, and so I thought I’d lean into the grungy look to recreate that sense.
