Laura and me at a cairn on Twistleton Scar in the Yorkshire Dales. The Sony A7RII gives a slightly better selfie than the iPhone.

Twistleton Scar is one of the bucket list photography sites in the UK, which I first came across in this Joe Allam video. It was a great walk up, and we even got an ice cream on the way down thanks to an ice-cream van the appeared along one of the tracks :)

I’m not normally a people photo person, nor a landscape photographer, but I am really pleased with how this one turned out. Lots of detail and wonderfully atmospheric - very much how the day was.
