my name is mwd: photos

I’ve been travelling for a few days to visit family, and I stopped off on the way at Ribblehead Viaduct to try photograph it. Unfortunately it was too busy for me to be comfortable trying to take many pictures - it seems I picked the weekend when everyone had decided to visit the Yorkshire Dales.

I managed this picture showing three boys setting off on a hike. I have the same shot without them, and at first I was annoyed at having people in my shot, but I think this picture works better for the context they give. Alone the viaduct is something I’d have needed either a wider lens (how I miss my 12mm Touit) or been able to move around more freely. Another trip!
