I like the subject in this shot but not so much the shot itself - the one other photography lesson from this trip to Monument Valley was about timing - here the shadow is in all the wrong places due to when our tour was. But still, I consider myself very fortunate to have got to visit this place, so I wanted to post a few memories of this place, and these almost ex-buttes here show a different end of the spectrum to the larger, more obviously photogenic, buttes.
