Another photo of the F-Type I was able to rent for a weekend to drive to Big Sur and back. I have a lot of edits of this photo, which is probably a warning sign that it’s not that great a photo, but it’s interesting to me to try and capture what was a fun day out somehow.
I ended up with two edits in particular, this one, and another one in colour that was portrait, and it was interesting how the two aspect ratios dictated colour or not - the hills are an odd yellowy/green here, so without the sky become quite dominating, which is why this one is in monochrome, but if you can get a chunk of sky in there then it balances out and the colours make up for the lack of breadth of landscape.
In the end the landscape shot gives more of a sense of being on the road, so I went with this one.
