This is the view as you descend into Monument Valley, getting your first up close view of the buttes.

On one hand, this is a terrible picture: the subjects are all out of alignment, again I’m using urban photography focal depths for landscape so the background is blurred, but despite all that I really love this picture as it captures the moment of experiencing something new with my loved one.
