my name is mwd: photos

I like this style of almost abstract shot, though I can rarely pull it off: a minimal capture of a moment that transports you back without being too detailed to make it specific to an event or even a particular person.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say I wasn’t a little nervous having my bling camera on a beach covered in sand and having to occasionally abanbon it whilst I went for a swim - but then if you don’t take it with you you never get the shots. (I have subsequently bought an air blower thingy though :)

This is straight out of camera other than applying a stock Lightroom black and white preset to it. I could correct the horizon, but I feel this kind of shot doesn’t want to be perfect.
