Ready for diners
The prepared but sadly empty diner carriage on the California Zephyr. Meals on the train are a great social moment, as (assuming there’s not four of you) you get placed with some fellow travellers and over the course of the meal you learn about the lives of those travelling with you. And then at the next meal it’ll most likely be someone else, and you get another insight. I’m not normally a very social animal, but I loved these moments of interaction.
I had a high contrast black and white edit here, which I liked, but I’m trying to use more color, so you get this version. Normally I hate it when lights are blown out, but I like that outside is near invisible here brining focus on the train rather than its surroundings.
