Taken on a trip to Tate Modern back in 2012, I think this is part of Olafur Eliasson’s Little Sun exhibition, but can’t be sure. What I can be sure of is that I was pleased to note that the Little sun solar powered lamp he designed to help those with no reliable electricity is still an ongoing project, so I encourage you to check that out.
As an amusing aside, I’ve been frustrated of late trying to process some older photos I took on my Canon 7D at the amount of noise in the images - it’s been a very good reminder of how far digital cameras have come in terms of low light performance. I spent ages trying to denoise this photo, which didn’t seem to help at all - until I realised I’d accidently set the grain add slider to midway on this particular image :)
