I liked the shapes of this power line, silhouetted as they were by the setting sun.

I’d hoped to use the in camera jpeg for this, as I shot using B&W in camera (as I often do to try help me focus on composition rather than colour), but the vignetting of the sky was distracting, so I in the end had to tweak the B&W colour profile in post. Composition is original though.

There’s some out of focus areas that I’d rather weren’t there, but then I got this hand-held at ISO 100 in rapidly failing light, so here was an instance where the wide aperture did help me get the shot, despite not being a feature of the picture.
