One man and his cormorant
Is it just me that wants to anthropomorphise this beach warning marker? Taken on a weekend touring around the north Norfolk coast.
One of those ones where the crop is making up for the limits of the zoom I had to hand - though only really cropped to height not width. The majority of my crops are based on classic film ratios: usually 4x5 or 6x7, or like this one, the X-pan ratio of 65x24. I do this not because I think they’re better, but the same reason I tend to gravitate to prime lenses: it removes a whole bunch of choice from the equation. I find it much easier to work with some limits placed on my creative options, otherwise I end up in analysis paralysis when composing.
