Nantes Cathedral
I was saddened to see the news yesterday of fire at Nantes Cathedral, though thankfully it seems to have not cause structural damage. I’m not religious, but it is a beautiful building, with the wonderfully ornate front over the doors being a highlight.
As I’ve mentioned before, back in this period I wasn’t reviewing my photos, and hadn’t learned that my rule of wide open aperture means good wasn’t always appropriate, so this could have got more of the detail alas. But I do like the colour of the sunlight here.
