my name is mwd: photos

We went for a walk in the forests at the south end of Point Reyes, and we found sections of the forest were recovering still from a forest fire a decade or so before. I did go to look up a reference for that, but the last few years have not been kind to Californian forests, and it looks like these trees have been burned once more this year.

The picture is a bit hazy, but I like the layering of the trees, showing the burned trees, the new growths, and the survivors in the background.
