my name is mwd: photos

Taken back in 2008 with my first DSLR on the kit lens; the photo framing here is not the best, the DoF isn’t great either, but I like the subject and used it to work on my colour processing in Lightroom. I do really like the colours I got from that old Canon.

I’ve of late discovered the work of Dan Baker, who takes these wonderful pictures of the sea side town in which I was born. I know that Dan’s photos capture the town in a distinct way with their own look, and this was my attempt to do something along those lines. I didn’t really achieve that, but it was fun to try.
