my name is mwd: photos

This is an old picture of my Brammo Empulse R, an electric motorbike I got back in 2014. Due to pandemic and a host of other reasons, I had to take it off the road for the last couple of years, but yesterday it passed its MOT, so I can now ride it on the road again. I’ve felt bad about having such a nice machine just sat there doing nothing, but given the pain we had in acquiring it couldn’t bring myself to try selling it, so it feels a relief to be able to put it to use again.

This is not a particularly good picture, despite my attempts to distract from the fact it’s slightly out of focus (or at least, the DoF is too shallow to get the entire bike in). But I don’t have many pictures of my motorbiking adventures as I find both activities need all of my focus, so don’t mix very well. Which is unfortunate, as in theory bimbling around the countryside would be a great photo taking opportunity.
