Lines to the sun
Taken whilst out on my evening run - I liked the leading lines created by the contrails.
Colouring is very hard in sunset pictures. I went to a talk once that explained how a lot of sunset colours are in the violet range so RGB sensors can’t pick them up well. I guess it’s also to do with dynamic range - the sky wasn’t that dark overhead, but you have to expose for the sun. The raw file does have enough range in it, but if I expose the sky more to what I remember then the photo looks very fake - I guess our eyes never see the full range either.
