my name is mwd: photos

I was inspired to take a detour on my regular exercise cycle route this morning to go photograph this new suspension bridge just outside Cambridge after seeing this photo by another local Flickr user.

I didn’t manage to capture the same sweeping lines as in the picture that inspired me, but I did get some nice leading lines, and for once the blank overcast sky was a benefit rather than a hindrance.

Whilst I had to pull up the exposure in lightroom (I’m not happy with the fuji higher ISO performance at times, so I shot at a low ISO and pulled it up later), I did nail the symmetry in camera, which makes me happy.
