I could not sleep, so I went out with my tripod, to try take some pictures of the bits of Cambridge I normally don’t photograph as they feel touristy. But then, it’s buildings like this that make Cambridge the weird place to live that it is - this is a normal everyday town centre building here. It felt strange when I first moved here, but now I don’t even see it most days I walk through town. But I’m grateful to others for taking photos of what is common place in other places to bring them to me, so I thought I should try perhaps and do the same - but doing so at night at least makes it interesting to me too.
Oh, and as a mark of personal pride I got the framing in camera for this one :)
The colours at night though are not something I really know how to process well, particularly when every light seems to have a different temperature, so I went with a split tone process to avoid that.
