my name is mwd: photos

I love this left over room from a building that has otherwise been demolished in Liverpool. I assume it’s got some critical infrastructure in there, but I like to imagine it’s something more weird and the basis for a fun novel.

I originally wanted to have this straight on, where you could see just the remaining way against the car park background, but I couldn’t get enough separation between it and the background to make it stand out. In the end, I’m glad I couldn’t make that work, as it loses the room aspect, which is perhaps photographically less striking that what I was hoping to achieve, but is a more interesting story to tell.
