A photo of Jeppe Hein’s Waterflame at Houghton House in Norfolk. It was quite mesmerising to watch two things usually seen as cancelling out existing in a stable state.

I try to shy away from posting photos of other peoples art, as it feels like cheating somehow: I’m trying to capture my own view and not show you someone else’s. But there are times when you can perhaps get my view on their view, and then I think that’s interesting. That’s particularly true on something that’s in motion like this, where each moment is its own.
