Yesterday we left the city limits for the first time in getting on for half a year, and we took a walk around the grounds of Ickworth House. It was lovely to get a walk through some countryside, and the long loop was mostly empty, so it was quiet other than the occasional drone of a gixxer in the distance.
From a photography point of view it wasn’t that successful a trip. In part I was still quite derpy from my first vaccine shot, but also after a week of uninterrupted sunshine it finally returned to more traditional british weather with unbroken cloud in time for our (half) day out. There was the odd moment where the sun broken through, but in general I didn’t really get much. So all my photos are a bit rubbish. I kind of like this shot, but it doesn’t really pop the way I hoped and it looks a bit too over-processed for my tastes. I still have a lot to learn.
