my name is mwd: photos

I took this photo a while ago, but it suffered the classic Fujifilm vs Lightroom issues that you get with noisy areas taking on a kind of watercolour smearing effect. This issue of Lightroom and Fujifilm files not playing ball has made me consider ditching my Fujifilm cameras for some other system, which is a shame as most of the time they’re fine, and some of it is the "once you’ve seen it you can’t unsee it" but most people wouldn’t notice.

I’ve tried many ways to cure this, but for this one I found this article did a good job without requiring I use different tools.

Not ideal, but let me get something here. If you’re a Fuji shooter I’d love to know how you deal with those files where Lightroom just makes a mess of the detail or the noise.
