Hoodoo layering
Bryce Canyon is a very noisy place geologically speaking - the hoodoos are very densely packed with random shaps and sizes that it’s all hard to take in, and trying to capture its essense in picture is quite hard.
Reviewing the pictures I took to try take it all in they’re just too noisy and don’t let the viewer take anything in. I like this minimal shot of the side of the canyon, as it focusses on just one aspect of Bryce to try make it understandable.
Perhaps this says more about me as an engineer vs artist that I’d care to admin - wtrying to make the world understandable, catch it at its minimal, is also what I find makes for a good picture?
