Growing with the flow
We’re all like this tree: growing tall and strong but shaped by the environment we’re in. It’s just usually not as visually obvious, but that’s context: on the cliffs of Point Reyes trees like this are normal, and those straight up and down trees are the weird ones.
Originally I’d done a high contrast black and white process, made at some point in the past, but I feel a bit more confident with color now, or perhaps with the viewer. Whilst I do think B&W draws your attention more to the drama of the tree’s shape, I do like the color of the light here, so I just have to hope the visual strength of the tree is strong enough still vs the nice cows :)
