Getting the shot at 100 ISO
Getting into film has been a slow process, mostly down to the feedback loop between doing something, it not working out how you expected, and then trying to correct and see how that worked out, etc. Because I’m not processing my own film, and because photo trips are still limited, this has lead to a semi-stagnation.
I’m also learning what works for me and what doesn’t. I currently have a roll of Kodak Ektar 100 in the camera, and I find that for the pictures I want and because summer is becoming a distant memory in the UK, ISO 100 means I almost always want a tripod. On one hand I welcome the thoughtfulness that brings when I deliberately go out to take a picture, but it does mean fewer opportunistic shots.
