Friday Fretworks
I make guitars as a hobby, and one of the areas I’m still trying to hone my skills on is getting my fretwork just so. I write about this on my build blog, but it’s really hard to get photos of the frets, as my phone doesn’t have a macro mode. So I tried these shots with the X100F, as it has quite a close minimum focus distance. It gets the job done, but still isn’t ideal. At some point I’ll just need to get myself a macro lens for this sort of thing.
