my name is mwd: photos

I took this when I was just starting to get into photography, with my first basic DSLR, and the scene is still one of my favourites: the first beach we encountered on that trip, and we had it all to ourselves.

If you look back in my Flickr archive you’ll find the original, and whilst I still like that, I feel the black and white treatment helps you focus on the moment, rather than all the colours of the scene that aren’t very harmonious.
