The sun just coming over Ben Lomond and lighting what I thing is Ben Reoch. Another early morning trip to make coffee and look at the hills before all the tourists got going (other tourists I should say - I now live a long way away).

I’ve walked up Ben Lomond three times, but only once have I ascended in daylight. The first two times a group of friends and I walked up it to watch sunrise on the solstice - Ben Lomond being the closest Munro to Glasgow (a Munro is a Scottish hill over 3000 ft). However, the peak of Ben Lomond is usually covered in cloud, so neither of those trips did we see anything other than the mist from the top.
