my name is mwd: photos

A resting fallow deer. There was a lot to try and hold in your head whilst photographing the animals: you need to take care where you focus (the eye must always be sharp), you need to think about the fence that you’re taking the picture through (control your depth of field, watch for the light hitting the fence, line up your lens so the centre isn’t over wire), that my composition in some is quite off as that part fell out of my head. Here I could do with more foreground, but I’m pleased with the detail on the deer itself.
