Getting a guided tour of the valley meant we got to know some of the names of the buttes - I can totally see the elephant coming towards us here, but I doubt I’d have spotted it on my own :)

As with Cadillac Ranch, distance is key for the photos here: the tour mostly leaves you too close for getting enough context, so having a wide angle lens with me to get shots like this was great - just you need to selectively crop out the road we’re driving along!
