I’m not sure what this building is: it’s in the centre of a new residential area in Cambridge and had steam plooming from the top as we arrived there yesterday - though alas no longer evident by the time we got there. But I liked the strong lines and textures on the building, so spent some time photographing it all the same.
The clouds were also being particularly photogenic too.
Whilst I love the Sigma 24-70 zoom, it is quite heavy to lug about at times, so I’ve been pondering getting a budget prime for daily walk abouts. Thus I shot this building at various lengths according to the different prime options, and ended up picking the widest. I fear that all that’s going to happen if I’m not careful is I replace the weight of the zoom with the weight of a handful of primes :)
