Manchester has a wonderfully varied set of buildings of different ages and styles. But for some reason this one is somehow the one I ended up with.

To be fair to myself, I’d not planned to be so taken with the skyline, and only had my fixed 35mm lens with me, and in the tight streets that didn’t really cut it for buildings, particularly the older, more ornate ones.
