I love the California coast north of San Francisco. It has a mix of the things I love about my home landscape of Scotland and yet mixes it with something unique of its own. And it’s generally warmer that Scotland, which doesn’t hurt :)

Point Reyes in particular is a lovely place, with some amazingly remove coastline, lovely secluded walks, and local wildlife.

I’ve no idea how I edited this one - apparently I did it at the time and my memory isn’t that good :) I do recall on this trip us being amazed at the breadth of wildlife we saw on this trip and pulling together a set of pictures of it all to send to my niece who’s always been a wildlife fan.
