Further along the route between Grapevine and Amarillo, we shopped here for lunch.

It’s another example of where I’m trying to capture the low lying buildings and big bright sky. I also love the golden classic car on the right, and I can see the tail lights are on in our rental telling me I needed to get the shot quick before I was left behind :)

I’m also amazed I got away with this picture at f/2.8 given I’m shooting into the sun. One mistake I made on this section of the trip was having the aperture too wide open - I’m not used to shooting wide open spaces, so a lot of these ended up with not enough of the scene in focus.
