Taken back when summer light was good and I was just first going out in my mask again to take some pictures.

I certainly find that in general film does a great job capturing the feel of those summer days, though that might just be by association with childhood memories of summer holiday photos.

In a vague attempt to break some of that down technically, I’d note that in this specific case where I’m shooting into the light it’s flattened out the highlights compared to how I imagine the digital image would have been, which I think in part is what leads to that more memory like quality rather than the feeling of exact reproduction. And despite this being ISO 100, it still has a bit of grain to it, which I think also adds that sensation.
