my name is mwd: photos

I’m a sucker for trying to take pictures of people taking pictures, but they rarely work out as well as this. Here you can get a sense of what the picture was of in the background, and the contrast between the screen and the rest of the picture was manageable with a little lightroom tweaking.

I particularly like that the blossoms are in focus on the phone only - the only window into the real world is via the phone.

Ideally I’d have been able to show more of the right hand side of the frame to preserve a sense of direction from the phone, but the tree doesn’t go much beyond the frame and the sky whites out quickly in a distracting fashion.
