Building the future inside the future
I’m not quite sure why I like this photo so much. In part it’s because people are building one sci-fi staple (geodesic domes) inside another one (being in the Barbican Centre is like being in a brutalist Logan’s Run). In part I like the framing of the the buildings with their lines leading to the wooden frames. I like the drab colours of the older buildings and the vibrant colours of the new build - whilst Fujifilm cameras do have a good set of colour options, I do like the vibrant colours from my old Canon camera (possibly as a contrast). Anyway, this is a photo that at first glance is a bit meh, but I really do like it for lots of little reasons.
