I used to travel to California for work a lot, and the work side was never particularly fun. So my coping strategy was to make sure I had a few places nearby where I could just switch off and ignore the crazy for a bit.

Normally I was down Cupertino way and had a couple of regular coffee shops where I could do that, but this time we were in downtown San Jose for some big sales kick off thing (being in engineering, the sales team were usually an abstract concept to me), so was forced to find a new place for my moments of serenity. Thankfully I found this lovely quiet sushi place not far from my hotel. This is (I think) the sign from outside.
