Balsaminaceae
There was a big promotional push by Kodak on their Ektar 100 range, and given it was being discounted and I’d never tried it, I thought I’d give it a go. Being effectively fall already in the UK I came to regret my choice of packing my camera with a role of ISO 100 film, but now the scans are back, I can see that on the few days I did get to go out and shoot the results have been worth it.
Knowing that we had few remaining days of sun left, Laura and I braved a trip to the University of Cambridge Botanic Gardens, which looked lovely in the bright sun. This crop of Himalayan Balsam had a beautiful glow to it, and I’m really pleased with how the Ektar has captured the warm colours and the general glow they had.
