my name is mwd: photos

In the UK fall and winter usually mean damp as well as cold, so it’s not usually boarding weather, but yesterday it was dry, so I did a run across town at dawn.

I really wish I’d packed a better camera, as the sunrise light was fantastic, but I’m always a bit nervous about taking a spill with an expensive camera on me. So I had to make do with the iPhone, which despite being a technically okay camera, is not one I ever find takes shots that inspire me. Which is odd, as people like Sir Cam take absolutely wonderful photos regularly with their iPhone camera, and those I do find inspiration, but never my own.

That said I do like that this does have a bit of a filmic look to it, being in poor light and the phone struggling I suspect, and I do like how I unintentionally dressed for the season :)
