my name is mwd: photos

As a contrast to yesterday’s photo of a bee where I complained about the softness, I figured today I’d do the classic pairing pictures technique, and here’s another bee in soft focus, taken a couple of weeks earlier, shot in a rush on my film camera.

It’s a very different look, and whilst it’s not a great photo, I do like the aesthetic here, though I did tone down the grain from the HP5+ somewhat in Lightroom - I definitely find I refer colour film to black and white film currently.
