The fog was back, and it lasted all day, so I went back out in the evening and tried to get some more pictures. Capturing fog as you see it is quite hard on a modern digital camera as they’re trying to convert the image into a "normal" photo, so I had to work at it in post to try bring back some of that sense of being in the fog.

Normally when processing these photos I go for the isolated pool of light, which is a bit of a classic photo trope, but is so for a reason. However, that also goes against how it feels to be there - the fog makes everything have a slight glow to it, so I tried to roll with that here a little to show the trees and other corner detail that would be otherwise lost in the classic take on this scene.
