A quiet moment in the Lincoln Wolds
Yesterday we drove up from Cambridgeshire to Lincolnshire for the ashes scattering of my gran. We’d missed the funeral due to pandemic concerts before xmas, so I really wanted to go along to the ashes scattering, but was still weary of being around indoors with a large group of people. In the end we went to the scattering of the ashes on my Gran’s favourite beach, where my Grandad’s ashes were also scattered, and then we politely bid the collected family farewell and skipped the wake.
Instead, as we headed back south, Laura managed to locate this lovely quiet spot in the Lincolnshire Wolds for us to sit and have our lunch and some much needed tranquillity after a the earlier part of the day.
